Is this the fairest Greek island of all?
There are place you long to visit for years, only to feel let down when you eventually get there. Amorgos is not one of them. I’ve been dreaming about this out-of-the-way island since watching The Big Blue as a teenager. It wasn’t just the hope that I might dive straight into the arms of Jean-Marc Barr – it was the promise of a Greek island without cruise ships or sushi bars, an island where the vanishing Greece of my childhood still exists.
Thankfully, on Amorgos, it’s all still there.
